About DecarbDesk
DecarbDesk is a Calgary advisory practice that helps organizations decide where AI is worth using, builds inside the systems they already run, trains their people, and hands the work over.
Teams often copy the same information between tools, reconstruct decisions from email threads, and depend on one person who knows how the process really works.
Adding an AI model does not resolve that operating problem. The workflow still needs authorized data, explicit rules, review authority, evaluation, records, and a named owner on your side once it is running.
DecarbDesk maps those elements, recommends what to do about them, and builds the systems, records, and documentation you keep and use yourself.
Principal
Hammad is the principal at DecarbDesk, with fifteen years of engineering and technology experience across the energy, utilities, and financial sectors.
His work includes agent-based energy simulations, investment screening tools, and software used in daily operations that replaced manual analysis with traceable calculations. He works at the point where an analysis has to become a decision someone is accountable for. He is a professional engineer (P.Eng.) and holds an MBA.
Advisor
Eugenio is an AI engineer whose work spans fintech, payments, systems that find and use relevant information, and data engineering.
His background includes AI engineering at dLocal and generative AI delivery for banking and insurance clients at Capgemini. He holds an MSc in Computer Science focused on Artificial Intelligence.
